Job Scope  

Wenzel Downhole Tools is looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to help drive the sales of our leading downhole tools in the United States. This position will build and maintain relationships with existing customers and source new clients to increase sales.

This position is based in Houston, Texas and will require periodic travel.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Sell downhole drilling mud motors, shock tools, drilling jars and measurement-while-drilling (MWD) tools
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients
  • Source new clients to increase product sales
  • Represent the Wenzel brand by championing our products and services, and by putting customers first

Qualifications 

Education and Experience 

  • Grade 12 – University degree an asset
  • Experience in:
    • sales/marketing functions
    • coordinating drilling tools
    • directional drilling

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Servicing of drilling tools, including mud motors, jars and shock tools
  • Knowledge of power sections would be an asset
