Tyler Hassen joined Wenzel in 2017 and has served in a variety of positions at Basin Holdings (the parent company of Wenzel) since 2008. Tyler’s previous roles include CFO of Basin Holdings and President of Basin Power Solutions. Before joining Basin Holdings, he worked in the Global Energy Group at Morgan Stanley from 2005 to 2008. Mr. Hassen holds an A.B. from Princeton University.
Seif Soliman started his career with Basin back in 2013 as a summer investment analyst. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston in 2016, he went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Babson College in 2017 (Ranked #1 in the US for entrepreneurial studies). In 2018, he joined Basin Middle East and Africa. He combines his passion for entrepreneurship and business development with his ability to speak five languages fluently to bridge cultural gaps in business. Seif has track record in sales and is obsessed with customer satisfaction. Today, Seif is the President for Basin/Wenzel for the Middle East and Africa and is based out of Dubai, UAE.
Jason Conrad joined Wenzel Downhole Tools in 2006 as a key employee in the Service Department before growing into the roles of Customer Service Manager, Operations Manager and most recently V.P. of Operations. With over 25 years of expertise in the Oil & Gas Industry, Jason is passionate about business structure and enhancing operational efficiency. He strives to optimize the return on investment for not only the Company but our Customers as a whole. You’ll commonly hear Jason speak about “100% customer satisfaction” through continuous improvement utilizing lean principles. Jason holds a B.A. in Sociology from Concordia University, Edmonton.
Mr. Gurjar joined the Company in 2013, bringing with him over fifteen years of experience in engineering design, manufacturing, shop service, and field operations. As Engineering Manager, Mr. Gurjar’s focus is on continuous product development of drilling tools and effective technical communication. Mr. Gurjar is a Professional Engineer with APEGA and holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Shawn Feguenne joined Wenzel Downhole Tools in 2006 as one of the company’s first machinist apprentices before growing into the roles of Manufacturing Manager, and now V.P. Manufacturing, Canada. As an experienced Journeyman Red Seal Machinist, and with 25 years of expertise in the Oil & Gas industry, Shawn brings a passion for lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and innovation. He strives for excellence in his professional endeavors and is committed to delivering high-quality results to customers.
Jordan James joined Wenzel Downhole Tools in 2010 as a design engineer. Now, as a Professional Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jordan has 20 years of experience in design and manufacturing. He has helped develop many of the Wenzel drilling tool product lines, ensuring they meet the harsh requirements of the modern Oil and Gas Industry. With a passion for solving technological problems, Jordan strives to deliver quality products to our customers.
Mr. McCallum takes care of Wenzel business in the Middle East and African regions. He is based out of Abu Dhabi.
